Scott has had a very interesting journey to becoming a Performance Coach.
Scott started his career as a mechanic, looking after a fleet of cars.
However, he did not enjoy this role and eventually had a falling out with his employer.
Scott applied for a different role, within the same company, in learning and development, which he found a lot more fulfilling.
It was during this time that he discovered his passion for coaching.
Scott started coaching within the workplace and also outside of work, particularly in sports coaching.
He studied various coaching tools, including neuro-linguistic programming and positive psychology.
Along the way, he also experienced personal challenges, including divorce, which led him to explore coaching further and develop his coaching style.
Scott considers himself a performance coach, focusing on the mind and how it affects performance.
He credits two books, “Coded the Extraordinary Mind” by Vishen Lakhani and “The Chimp Paradox” by Steve Peters, for helping him understand the mind and how it affects performance.
He now applies this knowledge to help his clients achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

By learning to pause and reflect before reacting, we can become more intentional in our responses and avoid getting caught up in unproductive patterns of behaviour.

This may mean trying out different jobs or hobbies or seeking out new challenges and opportunities.
By embracing change and being willing to take risks, we can expand our horizons and discover new passions and strengths that we never knew we had.

Curiosity Without Judgment is Key
